Farewell P-Town

Our apartment is a mess. I like it though. It means that everything is getting put into boxes and we are one step closer to heading to Florida. Basically I have been talking about moving back to Florida for the last three years. But don't get me wrong, there are many things I am going to miss about New Joysee. To name a few:

Walking around in downtown Princeton.
Fall leaves.
Biking down the canal path with Katie.
Apple picking.
Being so close to NYC!
Taking part in the local farmshare.
Being so close to Rae and Kevin (among other great friends).
The SNOW.
Being able to take a (cheap) train ride.
Living right across the street from Anthropologie so I can keep an eye on sales.

Among many other things.

And now a final picture of our apartment before I completely tore it apart put everything into boxes.

Last shot of us in front of the old apartment. It's getting torn down after we leave.

Love you and miss you all.

5 Boxes

That's how many boxes I have packed today. I have also watched 3 movies, drank way too much coffee, walked across the road to get a (really) heavy box of packing paper, created a (possibly) good fish and veggie concoction in the crockpot, and most importantly told my Dad I loved him. Today is Father's Day. Dad, thank you for being funny, strong, optimistic, and supportive. I love you and you are wonderful.

Graduation and some

Zach graduated May 19th and I am finally getting around to posting about it, among other things. Graduation weekend was a ton of fun. Finally the day had arrived! My parents and Zachs mom came up for the weekend. We had so much time together. A wonderful reminder of what is to come when we move back down to Florida (in T minus 25 days).

Little Daddy and Little Cathy

We ate graduation dinner at Vidalia in Lawrenceville. It was amazing.

Everyone was headed back home by Wednesday and Zach and I were back to work. Right up until Memorial Day weekend. We originally decided to visit Grandma and Grandpa Grant in Rhode Island, then I was able to take off an extra day of work so we stretched the trip and spent our last two nights camping in Cape Cod. Rhode Island was lovely and relaxing as always.

Our campsite in Cape Cod wasn't all that great, but the location was amazing. Both days we were there our schedule consisted of: sleeping in, breakfast & lunch at the site, riding our bikes the 2.5 miles to the beach, exploring/reading at the beach for 4ish hours, back to the site, showers, reading, dinner, smores, sleep. So wonderful and soooo necessary.

Our grey rock color scale.

Crazy steep cliffs on the beach.

We are both incredibly happy we decided to go to Cape Cod. So gorgeous. In other news, look at these cute pictures of autumn and Zach. . .

That's all for now. I can't believe we are moving in 25 days. Yes, I have the moving truck and everything. Now we just have to find a place to live (details).
Miss you and love you all!
