Life can be exhausting.
&
Rewarding. . . but very exhausting.

There is a lot behind that statement, but because of the public and light hearted aspect of my blog I will choose to keep it at that. I like that my blog is light hearted. It's cozy.

Last week Zach and I were in FLORIDA! It was a wonderful trip full of family and friends. Soooooo great and totally appreciated. My step-mom Cathy is the best greeter/welcoming person a girl could ask for. She gives sooo much and expects sooo little in return (though she deserves a TON). Zach and I are very very blessed to have her as a second momma.

The weekend we were home was spent at the lakehouse with our dear friends from Saint Augustine. Not everyone was able to make it, but we enjoyed the company of those who could come on such short notice. We relaxed by the water, floated with beer in the water, went tubing, went wake boarding, some people went knee boarding, and of course we spent Saturday night at Ballyhoo's.

Zach and I spent Tuesday with Mom. We had lunch in Ybor and then headed to the Florida Aquarium and then to the mall. It was very nice to be able to spend a whole day with her. We had a lot of fun.

Zach and I spent Wednesday with Dad. We went to the Sunshine Thrift Store (my favorite thrift store ever). We encouraged Dad to think twice about buying a black Slip Knot shirt. . . . . he wanted it for riding his Harley. He was unaware of the band.

Wednesday evening we flew back to New Joysee where are wonderful friend and neighbor Eric picked us up. His lovely wife Ruth sent him to us with bottled water and carrot cake cupcakes. So sweet and so yummy.

Then came work. Which was actually pretty good. We are looking forward to our trip to Saint Augustine in July, but until then we are enjoying the cool weather in Princeton.

Love you and miss you all.
